back in business
hi there folks!
Just got back from a visit to Mumbai, i won't bore you with the details but it involved 7 hours worth of exams, excellent food and a hurried morning of shopping! -i guess we should add a Mumbai section to our website as lots of people do pass through there on their way to Goa.
It's a really exciting city to visit, if you know where to go!
Our Palolem-Beach.com website has already made it to page 4 of a Google search if you search for 'Palolem Beach', we are updating every week and moving on up!
Check out our newest addition to the article section and our list of restaurants in Palolem, Patnem and Agonda.
It's good to be back in sleepy Goa, and back to my routine of yoga, work and shiatsu...

Silent Noise

Goa's first ever
SILENT NOISE
party was an awesome success.
Wireless Head phones were given to everyone who attended and from 10pm the live music was played through them so that it was literally a 'silent party'.
It is difficult to describe just how surreal this feels (and looks) but it is a fantastic idea. The party was able to go on well into the early hours of the morning and no neighbours were disturbed.
International djs pumped out top quality music and the experience was totally intense!

Happy 2008!
Many Happy New Year wishes from everyone here at Palolem-Beach.com!
New Year's was one big fantastic party here in Palolem, Goa.
There were parties at Alessandra Resort, Cozy Nook, Laughing Buddha and Dancing Shiva's.
People came in from all around to enjoy the dancing and fireworks.
Things have calmed down slightly now with the more relaxed travellers seeking a quiet holiday heading our way.
You may have noticed that we have been updating our website quite a lot lately. We aim to have some accomodation, restaurants and activities up soon, so that we can start providing a useful guide for everyone wanting to come out to Goa. We have added a 'Related articles' section where we hope to post useful articles about Palolem, Patnem, Agonda, Goa and India as a whole which will be a great read for any traveller. Check out our first article.
We are out there taking loads and loads of photos too, so we can show you all just how beautiful our part of the world is!

Welcome to Palolem Beach blogspot.
At Palolem-Beach.com we aim to provide a comprehensive guide to Palolem and the surrounding area. Whether you are looking for accommodation, restaurants or things to do in Palolem, South Goa, you should be able to find it in our guide.
We hope to update our blog regularly bringing you news on what’s going on in our part of the world. We spend six months a year in Palolem, South Goa so we feel we can give you a real insight into what it is like.
Christmas is the busiest time of year in Palolem and this year was no exception. The beach huts were booked up and the beach was full of people from all over the world. Whether partying all night long, spending the day at sea on board a luxury all day cruise, or simply lying on the beach enjoying fresh pineapples and coconuts and chatting with the local fruit sellers, everyone enjoyed Christmas on Paradise Beach.
People are now taking a break from all the festivities and looking forward to New Years on the beach!
It looks set to be a good one!
