Patnem beach Goa
Patnem beach is much quieter than Palolem and just as beautiful. There are other more quieter beaches close by also. There is more of a breeze in Palolem than Patnem.
The beaches in most of north goa are nothing as nice as the beaches around Palolem, although when you go as far north as Arambol the beaches here are lovely.

Palolem Beach is located in Canacona, South Goa, India and has often been justifiably dubbed ‘Paradise Beach’.We have lived in Palolem, Goa for six months of the year for the past four years and we have decided to bring all our information and knowledge together into a useful website.
Apart from being a stunningly beautiful beach, Palolem is famous for its beach hut accommodation. As tourism has grown and changed in the area, so more resorts, guesthouses, rooms and hotels are appearing offering tourists a very wide choice of accommodation.
There is also a surprising amount of good restaurants in the area; some are even outstanding in fact. To make it easier for you while you are here we list all the restaurants in Palolem and we include a brief description of what to expect.
Most people may opt to just laze on the beach while they are here but if you want a more active holiday in Palolem or would like to discover something of the local Goan culture and way of life, there is plenty to do. Our list of activities is just a taster.
