WOW!!!!! What a fantastic place. As I think happens with a lot of people, we had only anticipated staying here for 3 nights, when in fact, we spent 10 nights here. It is totally relaxing, the beach is fantastic. There’s a great little backwater trip you can do when it’s high tide. (100 rupees per person!) You can walk out…

Palolem Beach is located in Canacona, South Goa, India and has often been justifiably dubbed ‘Paradise Beach’.We have lived in Palolem, Goa for six months of the year for the past four years and we have decided to bring all our information and knowledge together into a useful website.

Apart from being a stunningly beautiful beach, Palolem is famous for its beach hut accommodation. As tourism has grown and changed in the area, so more resorts, guesthouses, rooms and hotels are appearing offering tourists a very wide choice of accommodation.

There is also a surprising amount of good restaurants in the area; some are even outstanding in fact. To make it easier for you while you are here we list all the restaurants in Palolem and we include a brief description of what to expect.

Most people may opt to just laze on the beach while they are here but if you want a more active holiday in Palolem or would like to discover something of the local Goan culture and way of life, there is plenty to do. Our list of activities is just a taster.
